I am Lakshmikanta Mandal, a Constable of West Bengal Police and an Everest Summiteer.
Born in a small village in Purba Medinipur, my journey from simple beginnings to the top of Mount Everest has been shaped by discipline, courage, and determination.
Today, I am on a mission to climb all the 8,000-meter peaks of Nepal through my 8K Summits Mission.
This journey is about more than mountains — it is about inspiring others, breaking barriers, and proving that no background is too small for big dreams.

But with discipline, hard work, and courage, I crossed every barrier — from tough training to standing on the summit of Everest.

Through my expeditions, I hope to inspire others in the Police community and beyond to pursue their dreams, no matter how challenging they may seem. Every summit I reach is a victory not just for me, but for everyone who has ever been told they can't.

The Seven Summits represent the highest peak on each of the seven continents. This is the ultimate challenge for any mountaineer, and I am determined to complete this incredible journey.
Each summit presents unique challenges - from the extreme cold of Antarctica to the altitude of the Himalayas. As a deaf mountaineer, I face additional communication challenges, but my determination and passion for climbing drive me forward.
Through this journey, I aim to inspire others, especially those in the deaf community, to pursue their dreams regardless of obstacles. Every step I take is a testament to the power of perseverance and the human spirit.
