Carstensz Pyramid Expedition

Carstensz Pyramid, also known as Puncak Jaya, stands at 4,884 meters (16,024 feet) in Indonesia. This is the most technically challenging of the Seven Summits, requiring rock climbing skills.

Technical Challenge

Unlike the other Seven Summits, Carstensz Pyramid requires technical rock climbing. The route involves exposed rock faces and requires proper climbing equipment and skills.

The Achievement

This was one of my most technical climbs, and reaching the summit required all of my mountaineering and climbing skills. The sense of accomplishment was incredible.
